HUW WILLIAMS
Scottish artist Huw Williams, born 1968, is best known for his powerful depictions of horses, often focused on the power and movement of stallions contrasted against deep shadow, evoking both classical and contemporary elements.
His range also includes animal artworks of various species, as well as portraiture; Huw’s attention to the drama and expression contained within the body, as well as its positioning and movement, results in a delicate yet commanding presence in each of his works.
Huw’s work can be found in many prestigious private and public collections around the world, including the King of Bahrain, Chitrangda Singh (Bollywood), Ivanhoe Mining, the China Horse Club, the Meydan,TAK Singapore, the Audeh Group, the Royal Bank of Scotland, the Prudential, and Lloyds Bank.
