RICHARD DUFFIELD

Richard Duffield was born in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire and from an early age was drawing and painting the native wildlife he observed around his home.

Having studied art and music at teacher training college, in 1974 Richard went on to become an illustrator. In 2001 he became a freelance artist, and his skills have brought recognition in both wildlife and landscape painting.

His delicate details bring every animal to life within their own unique habitat, with woodlands, meadows and streams giving each scene context and character.
