TOM PAYNE

Tom takes inspiration for his abstract work from the natural landscape. This includes the rural aspects around his home in Warwickshire, along with the coastal beauty of Dartmouth and Devon. Tom has also been greatly inspired by the colours and textures of the Dubai desert, which he often explores while visiting family.

He uses texture to drum up atmosphere and drama, focusing on bright contrasting colours that mingle with or break apart on the organic texture underneath. The result might appear as a seascape, turbulent sky, or a nebula in outer space...

Tom’s bold and dramatic work has caught the attention of collectors worldwide, creating and displaying artworks around the globe.

Following the success of his first ever solo exhibition 'The Breakthrough Tour' in 2022, UK, Tom is continuing to develop his style in the studio and is always working on new and exciting colour palettes.
